SHILLONG, June 3: There is no fresh proposal to create new C&RD blocks in the state.
Informing this here, C&RD Minister Abu Taher Mondal said that creation of C&RD blocks is a continuous process. “As and when the government feels the necessity and requirement, the government will go for creation of new blocks,” he said.
The minister said that the government has received around 5-6 applications for the creation of new C&RD blocks.
“We received applications for creation but as of now from the government’s side, there is no proposal to create new blocks,” he added.
