Shillong, June 14: In a surprising turn of events, a man from Bhagalpur, Bihar, who was believed to be dead and mourned by his family for the past four months, was discovered eating momos in Noida by his brother-in-law, who had been accused of kidnapping him.
Nishant Kumar had gone missing under mysterious circumstances on January 31, leading his father, Sachidanand Singh, to file a missing complaint at the Sultangunj police station. In the complaint, Sachidanand accused his brother-in-law, Ravi Shankar Singh, and his father-in-law, Naveen Singh, of kidnapping Nishant.
While at a momos shop in Noida, Ravi spotted a shopkeeper scolding a man with disheveled hair and dirty clothes. Moved by the situation, Ravi asked the shopkeeper to offer momos to the man, only to later realize that the man was none other than Nishant.
Ravi immediately took Nishant to a nearby police station, and later, he was handed over to the Bihar Police. The following day, Nishant was presented before a court. The police are currently investigating the case to determine if Nishant was indeed kidnapped and how he ended up in Delhi.
Meanwhile, Ravi Shankar expressed that his family had faced harassment from Nishant’s family, who had accused them of kidnapping. Ravi expressed his hope that justice would be served to his family in light of these recent developments.
