The Sub-Divisional Magistrate of Sohra Sub-Division has promulgated an order under Section 133 CrPC prohibiting extraction of boulders at Wah Sohryngkew and Wah Kommorah.

The Magistrate has also ordered the filling up of the craters created due to mining activities by August 26 failing which, all land owners involved in extraction of boulders will have to appear before the SDO, Sohra Civil Sub-Division, Sohra.
