MSCW Chairperson Phidalia Toi decides to step down

Shillong, June 23: The Chairperson of Meghalaya State Commission for Women (MSCW), Phidalia Toi on Friday has decided to step down from her post.

Informing that she has already responded to the show cause notice issued against her, she said that she would be submitting her resignation to the government.

Toi also informed that she would meet her legal counsel to decide on her future course of action.
She did not reveal if she would take legal recourse against Social Welfare Minister, Paul Lyngdoh for defaming her.
