Have plan to make West Shillong a model constituency, says Paul

SHILLONG, June 29: Cabinet minister and West Shillong MLA Paul Lyngdoh on Thursday said that he has a comprehensive plan to make his constituency a model constituency.
He informed this after being felicitated by the Synjuk ki Shiphew Dorbar of West Shillong constituency.
Asserting that the issue of drugs, unemployment and lack of development are the real enemies of the society, Lyngdoh said, “I have a comprehensive plan and I will discuss these plans with all Dorbar Shnong in order to implement the plans in order to make 18 West Shillong a model constituency in the entire country.”
“I thank the people of 18 West Shillong for having trust in me and I thank the Synjuk ki Shiphew Dorbar of the constituency for this recognition and, as the MLA, I will work hard along with the people of the constituency to make sure that we are able to make 18 West Shillong as a model constituency,” he added.
Meanwhile, secretary of the Synjuk, Meban Lyngdoh, said the constituency is fortunate to have an MLA, who is also the minister in-charge of the Social Welfare department.
He said that will give a boost to the Dorbar Shnong in the fight to eradicate drugs menace from the constituency.
“The Synjuk urged the MLA to work along with all Dorbar Shnong and help them in the fight to eradicate drugs menace from 18 West Shillong and from the state of Meghalaya” said Meban.
