SHILLONG, June 30: Chief Minister Conrad K. Sangma on Friday urged the Centre to examine all options to quell the volatile situation prevailing in Manipur.
“The common people are suffering and there is a humanitarian crisis in the state right now. Something needs to be done really fast to cool down the situation and bring back things to normal,” Sangma said.
Stating that the situation in Manipur is complicated, he said, “The Centre will have to examine all options and act accordingly. Every decision will have its own repercussions and how you handle the situation post that decision is something that has to be seen holistically.”
