Shillong : Chief Secretary WMS Pariat (R) releases the Book on General Election, 2013 in the city on Friday. The book provides detailed information about the population, electorates, number of constituencies and polling stations, votes polled by each candidate, number of Returning Officers and observers engaged during the election etc. The Information Book is available in the office of Chief Electoral Officer for the public on payment. Chief Electoral Officer, P. Naik (C) and Additional CEO D Dhar along with other senior officers were also present on the occasion. (ST)
