WJH DC cancels coal auction notice

Jowai, July 28: Deputy Commissioner, West Jaintia Hills has cancelled the Coal Auction notice dated July 18, after receiving complaints regarding discrepancy in the quantity of coal quoted in the notice for auction, a statement issued here informed.
The deputy commissioner said that a fresh notice will be issued after verification of the quantity of coal against each order.
All persons who have submitted bids and earnest money in respect of the above cancelled notice for auction may collect them from the office of the Deputy Commissioner from August 1 to the 4, he further said.
