Shillong, August 8: Elon Musk’s recent decision to change Twitter’s name to ‘X’ has left netizens, including megastar Amitabh Bachchan, utterly perplexed. The bewildering move has sparked a flurry of reactions from both celebrities and the general public.

Amitabh Bachchan, joining the conversation, exhibited his wit and humor in response to the name change. Taking to his ‘X’ account, the iconic actor posted a playfully clever message: “X-4732 Ab ‘T’ ban gaya hai ‘X’, toh badalna padega text” (Now ‘T’ [Twitter] has become ‘X’, then so should the text).

IANS reported that fans were thoroughly entertained by this amusing tweet, triggering a myriad of responses from netizens.

One admirer quipped, “Many things have changed in the past 54 years, except Amitabh Bachchan ji who to this day has remained constant since 1969.”

Another follower expressed mixed feelings, stating, “T has changed, not feeling all that well about that, but X still sounds cool.”

In a tribute to the legendary actor, a fan praised, “Absolutely sir, please change but don’t ever lose your character, you are above even diamonds!”

Another fan marveled, “What better stuff can you expect from the star of the millennium. This was Einstein level stuff.”

The platform’s name change, attributed to Elon Musk’s whimsical decision-making, has sparked an engaging debate about the new term for tweets. However, the ultimate decision rests in the hands of the Tesla CEO.

Despite the intriguing developments, Amitabh Bachchan continues to shine in the limelight. His recent film appearances include ‘Uunchai’, and he is set to grace the screens again in movies like ‘Ganpath Pt. 1’, ‘Ghoomer’, ‘The Umesh Chronicles’, and ‘Kalki 2898 AD’.
