Shillong, August 10: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has alleged that the BJP is employing a strategy similar to what was done with Congress MP Rahul Gandhi to remove AAP’s Rajya Sabha MP Raghav Chadha from his parliamentary membership.

As per IANS, AAP’s Sanjay Singh criticized the Modi government’s approach, claiming that they resort to running propaganda against those who raise questions. He referred to the allegation that Chadha forged the signatures of five MPs for a Select Committee.

Chadha responded by challenging the BJP’s claims, asserting that the party is using repeated lies to create a false narrative.

He accused the BJP of attempting to suppress his voice and emphasized that a member’s signature is not required for proposing names to a Select Committee based on the rules. Chadha expressed confidence in his position and invited the BJP to provide evidence of the alleged forgery.

He vowed to address the matter before the Privileges Committee and asserted that efforts to silence the Opposition were evident.
