SHILLONG, Aug 25: Students of secondary and higher secondary schools from Shillong and the degree students of Sankerdev College participated in the awareness programme on ‘Basic Techniques of Plantation cum Hands – on Training’ organised by the Botanique Club, Department of Botany, Sankardev College, here on Friday.
The programme was sponsored by the Directorate of School Education and Literacy – SAMAGRA SHIKSHA ABHIYAN, Education Department. The awareness emphasised on basic techniques of plantation of indoor plants, their advantages and methods of propagation which was elaborated by practical demonstration cum training on setting up of gardening, planting, potting, re-potting.
