SHILLONG, Sep 20: The UDP-led Opposition alliance (United Democratic Alliance) in the KHADC has questioned if the special session of the Council slated to begin Friday will actually be held.
Leader of Opposition (LoP) in the KHADC, Titosstarwell Chyne, on Wednesday, said they are yet to receive the list of matters to be discussed during the two-day special session.
Confirming this, said that they have only received a notice about the special session. “We are yet to receive the list of business. We are not sure if the special session is going to be held,” Chyne said.
He also said that the MDCs of the Opposition alliance had met on Tuesday to deliberate over the special session. “But we could not hold any discussion since we do not have the list of business. We need to know what are agenda listed for the session,” he added.
