SHILLONG: The Congress Legislature Party (CLP) on Friday unanimously resolved to support Chief Minister Dr. Mukul Sangma as their undisputed leader.
“We have decided to repose our faith on Dr. Mukul Sangma as our leader for the next five years,” newly elected CLP spokesperson, Prof RC Laloo, said after the CLP meeting here on Friday.
He added that the CLP decision has negated the demand made by the Opposition UDP for Dr. Sangma’s resignation.
