SHILLONG: The Bouncers’ Association of Meghalaya (BAM) has clarified that the members of the Association were only acting as per instructions of the event organizers asking the media person to provide pass to attend the valedictory function of the 18 Degrees festival organised in the city recently.

“We are an Association dealing in matters of security and safety in any social event and we always follow the instruction and details of the organizers provided that such instructions are for the safety and harmonious function of such happenings,” BAM information secretary Mike Nongbet clarified on Tuesday.

He, however, hoped that in future there would not be any misunderstanding and both parties would cooperate and lend out a helping hand to each other for necessary contributions towards the society.
