Jowai: The Moolamylliang Village Dorbar, East Jaintia Hills district will kick off its Christmas festival of lights on December 15 where Dr WR Kharlukhi, MP Rajya Sabha Meghalaya Shillong will be the Chief Guest and Santa Marry Shylla, MLA 5-Sutnga Saipung will be the guest of honour.
The string lights along with different lightings have been prepared to brighten up the village and bring the festive spirit of Christmas. The lights will be lit every evening from 5 pm to 12 midnight and this will go on till the 3rd of January next year.
A Christmas concert will be organized on the evening of December 22, which will be taken part by the different bands.
