Two persons injured in JH road mishap

Jowai, Dec 22: An accident occurred at Sabah-Muswang NH-6 (around 5 km from Jowai) on Friday evening at around 2:45 pm. Two persons received serious injuries and they were rushed to Wood Land Hospital, Jowai.
The incident happened when a Mahindra Bolero (Pick Up) bearing register number ML 11 8143 and an Alto bearing register number WB 02U 7458 hit by a Shaktiman (truck). The injured persons are the occupants of Mahindra Bolero and they are identified as Mikel Dkhar of Thangskai, East Jaintia Hills District and Smt Rilangnga Sayoo of Mulieh Raliang West Jaintia Hills District. The occupants of the Alto, received only minor injuries, said eyewitnesses.
In another development, an unidentified body of a man was found from Dangar video hall on Wednesday, December 20. Accordingly, inquest and other legal formalities were observed. After completion of the post mortem, the body has been kept at NEIGRIHMS, Morgue for identification and claim.
