SHILLONG, Jan 14: After a recent report called out leftovers and discarded materials in the Ward’s Lake, Dakti Crafts, the art and craft partner of Winter Tales which was held at the scenic lake, has ascertained that the discarded materials found at the back gate, typically closed at all times, do not belong to their event.
It also said that other activities took place at the venue after their festival.
Secondly, they also reiterated that the photograph depicting a vandalised installation by unknown miscreants was immediately cleared as soon as they were made aware of the incident.
Dakti also stated that the stalls left at the venue were preserved based on a suggestion to repurpose them for upcoming programs supporting local entrepreneurs and communities, aligning with the principles of reduce, reuse, and recycle.
