Guwahati: Taking suo motu cognizance, Assam State Commission for Women on Friday registered a case against alleged rape and murder of two girls by four youths near the city.
In an official release, the Commission condemned the incident and asked the DGP and SSP to take immediate steps.
Decomposed bodies of two girls have been recovered from near the LGB Airport, leading to sensation in the area. (Agencies)
