Body found
An unknown body aged about 60 years old was found near Paramount Hotel, Tura Bazar, in West Garo Hills around 9:30 am on January 14. After completing legal formalities, the 5-feet-tall body was shifted to Tura Civil Hospital for post-mortem examination. The corpse was kept at morgue room of Tura Civil Hospital. The deceased was swarthy-complexioned with white beard and moustache and was found wearing a Khaki jacket, an off-white shirt, brown vest and black pants.
Meeting
The Meghalaya Government Paramedical and Technical Association will hold its annual general meeting of 2024, at Youth Hostel Shillong near Additional Secretariat at 10.30 am on January 26.
