SHILLONG, Jan 22: A significant error occurred in the MPSC competitive exams on Monday when a staff member opened the packet of questions for the English exams that were supposed to take place on Tuesday, even though that day was set aside for the General Knowledge paper.
MPSC Chairman PR Marwein stated that on Monday, a human error occurred in the centre here in Shillong when a staff member opened the packet of English exam questions meant to be administered on Tuesday.
The MPSC took some time to recognise its error, and the question papers were withdrawn right away.
The Chairman announced that the candidates would receive a fresh set of English-related question papers on Tuesday.
