SHILLONG: Laitkroh MDC Carmel Sohtun, who has been vocal against Congress on the issue of ILP, has joined Khun Hynniewtrep National Awakening Movement (KHNAM).
KHNAM in a statement issued here on Sunday said that Sohtun joined the party fold on Saturday.
The statement said Sohtun as an MDC agreed to fight for the cause of the people of the state and he chose KHNAM as it is the only regional force standing firm fighting for the betterment of the Hynniewtrep people.
