Govt to identify specific zones to accommodate genuine vendors

SHILLONG, Feb 13: The state government on Tuesday submitted before the High Court of Meghalaya that a team will be constituted to identify vending zones and accommodate genuine vendors in those zones.
During the hearing of a PIL, the government submitted that action would be taken in order to give quietus to the issue on hand.
The government sought two weeks’ time to file a detailed report in this regard.
