Monolith Festival delayed yet again

SHILLONG, Feb 14: For the fifth time, the KHADC has decided to postpone the Monolith Festival.
The festival will now be held from March 7 to 9. The decision was taken at a meeting of the Coordination Committee Monolith Festival 2024 on Tuesday.
The meeting was attended by KHADC Executive Members, MDCs, and representatives of different departments, Hima Mawphlang and the event management team. “We have decided to postpone the Monolith Festival to March 7, 8 and 9 due to unavoidable circumstances,” the member secretary of the committee, R Karraswai, said in a statement on Wednesday.
Earlier, the festival was scheduled to be held on February 22, 23 and 24.
