Storm causes extensive damages to MeECL power lines

Shillong, April 1: Following yesterday’s cyclone which the state, many power lines and transformers of MeECL have sustained huge damages.

The CMD of MeECL Sanjay Goyal said that certain feeders have been damaged in Shillong as well as in parts of Ri Bhoi.

He however said that restoration works are being taken up and everything would be restored soon.
