TURA, May 7: A resident of Chachatgre village in Williamnagar has filed a complaint against an UBSI of Rongsak Police Outpost accusing him of taking bribe in an assault case.
The complaint against the police official was filed to the Meghalaya DGP by one, Clever T Sangma, who is also the victim of the assault.
Sangma claimed in the complaint that he was beaten up by one, Terot T Sangma and some others following which an FIR was filed at the police outpost in question. However, despite demanding money from the victim on several occasions which was also paid, the said police official allegedly failed to take any action.
