JOWAI: The District Level Stakeholder Conclave under Meghalaya Green Mission was organised in East and West Jaintia HIlls District respectively on Thursday.
In East Jaintia HIlls, the program was organised in the DC’s Conference Hall, Khliehriat and it was attended by several headmen and village representatives beside youth and women organisations.
The speakers on the occasion included the Principal of Jaintia Eastern College, Dr. Phervision Nongtdu, Correspondent of The Shillong Times, Sannio Siangshai, Dr. S Suja, BDO Khliehriat, C Mawkon and the Deputy Commissioner, WR Lyngdoh besides EAC, DV Lyngdoh who chaired the program and the Assistant Research Planing Offer, S Suiam.
