SHILLONG, July 1: Meghalaya is set to establish a new veterinary hospital in Upper Shillong. The new establishment will provide comprehensive treatment for various animals. Currently, the city has a small veterinary hospital offering OPD services.
Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Minister AL Hek announced that the new hospital will be constructed under the PM Divine project, having already received clearance from the State Level Empowered Committee. “Once all the formalities are done, we will pursue the matter,” Hek stated, adding that the Detailed Project Report (DPR) for the hospital has been completed.
