WILLIAMNAGAR, Aug 31: In view of controversial pictures being circulated as monkeypox on social media, the East Garo Hills District Medical and Health Officer (DMHO) has clarified that the same were not of monkeypox but another chronic disease, which is non-communicable.
Asking the people not to panic, the authorities also requested residents not to circulate such kinds of pictures without verifying the condition.
