SHILLONG: Mait Shaprang Movement convener Michael Syiem has distanced himself from interfering in the transfer of Government or on their extension of services including that of the present Chief Secretary, WMS Pariat.
In a staement issued here on Thursday, Syiem said that transfer or extension of services of the Government officials is the sole prerogative of the Government unless it has a negative impact on public interest.
