SHILLONG: In connection with the 2011 Census, silver medals for meritorious service have been awarded by the President of India to East Khasi Hills Deputy Commissioner Sanjay Goyal and Commissioner of Disabilities Kumari C Kharkongor.
The medals were handed over by Chief Secretary WMS Pariat to the two officials on December 16 last.
