Meghalaya Tourism Dept receives Rs 300 crore for infrastructure projects

Shillong, Oct 29: Meghalaya Tourism Minister Paul Lyngdoh today informed that the Tourism Department has received funds to the tune of more than Rs 300 crores from Asian Development Bank and State plan to develop tourist infrastructure projects.

He also said the around 200 registered vendors would be relocated from Police Bazar within November.

The Minister informed that the Shillong Cherry Blossom festival will kick on November 15 and Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scinia would be present on the inaugural day.
