‘I don’t see films in technical way’

London: American actress Zoe Saldana never thinks about films too technically as she just likes to do movies which she enjoys the most. The Star Trek actress has become known for her action-led leading roles in movies such as Taken and Avatar. “I try not to see films in such a technical way because the moment I do, I know it will become like a machine,” femalfeirst.co.uk quoted the 33-year-old as saying. “I see each film as a story, so it depends what attracts me to it. I’ve read scripts where they’ve wanted to do a bigger part than that one that called out to me. With ‘Avatar’, I felt I had so much to do with that character, I almost wished she was a little bit more in the background,” she added. (IANS)

Emma Stone prefers spiderman

London: American actress Emma Stone prefers the ‘boy next door’ image of Spiderman over other super heroes like batman and Superman. Stone, who will play Peter Parker’s love interest in next Summer’s “The Amazing Spiderman”, revealed that her preparation for the role has made her understand the romantic appeal of the super-hero. “Batman’s great, but this isn’t a rich guy building a suit. And Superman’s great, but this isn’t an untouchable guy like we’ve never seen before on this planet,” contactmusic.com quoted the 22-year-old as saying. “This (Spiderman) is someone you could go to school with and work with, that all of sudden, one day is able to fight off superhuman villains. It’s pretty incredible. I get it now. I really do,” she said. (IANS)

I am Lazy: Noel Gallagher

London: Former Oasis guitarist Noel Gallagher says that he doesn’t like being a frontman because he is very lazy and the job requires a lot of hard work. “There’s a lot of work involved in this and I’m a lazy ****. But I think I’ll be alright. I’d got to start again from scratch. I’m not a frontman, now I have to be the guy up the front giving it all the jazz hands,” contactmusic.com quoted Gallagher as saying. “I’ve been in a band with a great frontman, and I was a great guitarist and backing vocalist who chirped in with the odd funny quip. It was perfect. This is just a major pain in the b******s. But I’m getting used to the idea,” he added. The 44-year-old, who claims Oasis split after brother Liam attacked him backstage with a guitar, also said that many people wrongly believed he was relieved when the band split. (IANS)
