Five principals of state colleges share insights with peers in Indonesia

MAWKYRWAT, Feb 10: A delegation of five members from the Association of Indian College Principals (AICP), who are also the office-bearers of the Meghalaya College Principals’ Council (MCPC), attended the 27th International Conference in Bali, Indonesia, held on Friday and Saturday.
The AICP members from Meghalaya who attended the programme include Dr Eureka FP Lyngdoh, Principal of Sankerdev College and president of MCPC; Dr Kyntiewkupar Nongsiej, Principal of Sngap Syiem College Mawkyrwat and vice president of MCPC; Dr Ricard M Lyngdoh, Principal of Synod College Shillong and joint secretary of MCPC; Dr Evakor Kharkongor, Principal of Shillong College and treasurer of MCPC; and Dr Motish M Sangma, Principal of Mendipathar College and Executive Member of MCPC.
Principal of Sngap Syiem College Mawkyrwat, Dr Kyntiewkupar Nongsiej, said that the event, which was held at Udayana University, brought together visionaries in higher education to share insights and best practices.
Nongsiej added that the International Conference, jointly organised by AICP, Grand Academic Portal, GLS University Ahmedabad, and Udayana University, was themed ‘Excellence in Higher Education: Leading with Vision and Impact.’ During the event, Synod College, Shillong, was felicitated by AICP for achieving an impressive A+ grade from NAAC in 2023. Shillong College received a similar recognition from AICP last year in Jaipur for also securing an A+ grade from NAAC in 2023.
