JOWAI: The local committee of the United Democratic Party (UDP), Sohmynting village claimed that hundreds of people in the village have decided to support the UDP candidates from Sohmynting-Khliehtyrshi Consituency.
“Many of the congress supporters have joined the UDP party in the village”, Kyndait said adding that the main reason for joining the party was due to the alleged misused of public by the JHADC chief, MB Rymbai who is also the Congress candidates”.
The JHADC chief has used names of many people from the village, making false documents in their names, forging their signatures in order to withdraw huge amount meant for Discretionary Grant and Gratuity Relief.
