SHILLONG: A one-day farmers’ training on ‘Popularization and dissemination of Technology of Biopesticide formulation among the poor and marginal farmers of weaker sections’ was organized on Friday under DST collaborating Project by Prof. H. Kayang, Principal Investigator, Centre for Advanced Studies in Botany, North-Eastern Hill University, Shillong in collaboration with the Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK), East Khasi Hills District, Upper Shillong.
As a part of the training programme, the farmers and participants were taken for a field visit as well as practical demonstration at Biological Control Laboratory, Shillong by the Project Representatives from Indian Institute of Horticultural Research (IIHR), Bangalore.
