Cancellation
The Shillong Socio-Cultural Assamese Students’ Association has informed that the NAHOR, a cultural event that was scheduled for May 11 at Asom Kristri Kendra, Dhankheti, has been cancelled in view of national security concerns precipitated by Indo-Pakistan tensions.

The East Garo Hills Deputy Commissioner has issued an advisory for the general public in view of the southwest monsoon.
