SHILLONG: The District Lower Level selection camp for judo will be held on the 12th, 14th and 15th of this month, for Jowai, Shillong and Ri-Bhoi, respectively.

The camp has been organised by the Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs and the Meghalaya Judo Association (MJA) in order to select participants for the upcoming North East Games, it was revealed through a press release on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, the Free Judo Demonstration cum Coaching Camp was held in Mawkyrwat, organised by the District Sports Officer and the MJA, along with a judo coach from the SAI Shillong Training Centre.

A similar camp will be held from March 18 in Nongstoin. All schools, colleges and youngsters interested in judo can contact the West Khasi Hills DSO for further information.
