JOWAI: Governor Dr. K.K. Paul on Friday approved the list of the new Executive Members (EMs) of the Jaintia Hills Autonomous District Council (JHADC).
JHADC Chief Executive Member Thombor Shiwat informed that the Governor has approved the list of EMs which include Joinriwel Pyrtuh, Holando Lamin, Arborhima Darnei, KM Lyttan, Phllip Tangliang, Desous Pohshna, Awhai Andrew Shullai and Pheinlang Nanglein.
Out of 10 Independents members, none were included in the newly constituted Executive Committee.
However, one more EC member was not listed beside the Deputy Chief Executive Members.
As per District Council procedure, the EC should have nine EMs beside the Chief Executive Member and his deputy.
