Justin Bieber and his wife Hailey Bieber are celebrating the release of their first solo album in over four years, Swag. A source familiar with the album’s creation said that the couple is celebrating the fact that Bieber made the record on his own terms.
The source said that Hailey was by Justin’s side throughout the album creation process, helping him to trust himself and follow his artistic instincts. Justin felt that he was able to make the kind of album he truly wanted after parting ways with his former manager, Scooter Braun.
The singer experienced a new creative process, allowing him to “run his own show” by choosing the musicians and producers he collaborated with and using only live vocals and instruments to create a more stripped-down style. Hailey supported Justin in following his artistic instincts and helping him trust himself.
