Corrine Rita War has been awarded a PhD in Sociology by NEHU for her thesis ‘A Critical Analysis of Erving Goffman’s Writings’, which she completed under the supervision of Prof DV Kymar. She is presently working as an Assistant Professor at St. Mary’s College, Shillong. She is the daughter of Melanie Feegrade War.

Aawaj Kuloong Rai has been awarded PhD by North-Eastern Hill University, Shillong, for his research work on ‘Studies on bacteriocin production and metal scavenging property of lactic acid bacteria from non-dairy fermented products’, which he completed under the supervision of Prof. SR Joshi of Department of Biotechnology & Bioinformatics. He is the son of Bikash Kuloong Rai and Nisha Kuloong Rai of North Point Darjeeling.
