Shillong: Aam Admi Party candidate for Shillong Lok Sabha seat Armerington Kharshiing said on Saturday that he had duly mentioned in his affidavit submitted during filing of nominations his educational qualifications. Otherwise, his nomination would have been rejected. Possibly, these had not been uploaded in the website along with his affidavit by the concerned authorities. “This is not my fault.”
Kharshiing also said that his assets comprised his own house and that of his late wife. “My assets have been acquired by inheritance, I did not purchase them on my own,” he pointed out.
