Swift announces new album The Life of a Showgirl

Pop icon Taylor Swift has a delightful surprise for her Swifties. The singer-songwriter has announced her 12th studio album The Life of a Showgirl. Prior to this, the singer had posted a mysterious countdown on her website, reports ‘Variety’. Swift does little by accident, and fans instantly started speculating that something would be revealed on the 12th day of the month at 12:12 a.m. EST, when the countdown ran out. In classic Swift form, she did just that, revealing the album title on Travis Kelce’s podcast New Heights Show. As per Variety, the announcement of The Life of a Showgirl comes just after Travis Kelce revealed on Instagram that Swift would be appearing on Wednesday as a guest on his New Heights podcast, hosted alongside his brother Jason. The singer last released her studio album The Tortured Poets Department in April 2024, and followed up two hours later by expanding it into a double album titled The Anthology. It would continue to become the best-selling album of the entire year. (IANS)

Kareena, Saba, Soha share adorable birthday wishes for Sara Ali Khan

As Bollywood actor Sara Ali Khan turned a year older, she was showered with heart-warming wishes from Kareena Kapoor, Saba Pataudi, and Soha Ali Khan. Taking to Instagram stories, Bollywood actor Kareena Kapoor Khan took to Instagram stories to wish Sara on her birthday. She shared a throwback picture with her. Her father, Saif Ali Khan and brother, Ibrahim Ali Khan, are also seen in the photo. Kareena, who shares a special bond with the ‘Simmba’ star, wrote in the caption, “Happy birthday darling @saraalikhan95. Have the bestest one yet..tons of love.” Saif Ali Khan’s sister and Sara’s aunt, Saba Pataudi, also posted a series of pictures of the Kedarnath actor, from childhood to the more recent ones. (ANI)

Actor Noah Centineo to lead Rambo prequel movie

Noah Centineo, the star of To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before and series The Recruit, will portray Hollywood veteran Sylvester Stallone’s classic action character of John Rambo in an upcoming prequel movie.
According to entertainment news outlet Deadline, Jalmari Helander, the director of films such as Sisu and Big Game, will helm the project. The screenplay will be penned by Rory Haines and Sohrab Noshirvani. The movie, titled John Rambo, hails from production banner Millennium Media. While the film’s plot is not revealed, the origin story of young Rambo will be set during the Vietnam War. It is expected to commence production in Thailand in 2026. One of the most iconic action heroes in American cinema history, the character was created by David Morell in his novel First Blood. John Rambo will be produced by Kevin King-Templeton on behalf of Templeton Media, Les Weldon, Jonathan Yunger and Avi Lerner. Executive producers include Trevor Short and Bonfire Legends’ Dallas Sonnier and Amanda Presmyk. (PTI)
