3 injured as KSU, another group clash at Jaiaw

SHILLONG, Sep 6: Three youths were injured in a clash between members of the Khasi Students’ Union (KSU) and another group near Dr. H. Gordon Roberts Hospital, Jaiaw, on Saturday night.
The injured were rushed to the hospital for treatment and subsequently discharged.
East Khasi Hills Superintendent of Police, Vivek Syiem, said the situation was brought under control after a police team was dispatched to the area. He added that an investigation is under way to ascertain the cause of the altercation.
