TURA, Sep 26: In a massive development, the Non Gazetted Employees Association (NGEA) of the GHADC has reportedly called off its indefinite strike after over 80 days. However, a formal announcement from the NGEA is awaited.
The NGEA has begun its indefinite stir on July 7 over unpaid dues of 44 months.
The development comes after an order from the High Court of Meghalaya directing the SP of West Garo Hills to ask the employees to shift from the entrance of the council.
