Anita Pde has been awarded PhD in English by North-Eastern Hill University for her thesis titled ‘The Subculture of Violence in Young Adult Literature: A Study of the Select Works of Paro Anand, Thanhha Lai and Minfong Ho’, which she completed under the supervision of Prof. Esther Syiem. She is the daughter of (L) Arun Biswa and Angela Pde of Shillong.
Tsungom M has been awarded PhD in Chemistry by North-Eastern Hill University for her thesis titled ‘Use of Selected Catalysts for Removal of Acid Orange 8 Employing Various Oxidation Techniques’, which she completed under the supervision of Dr. MK Sahoo. She is the daughter of Tsoinyu Shiu and Mulai Lam of Noklak village, Nagaland.
Dr. Sonam Jalewa has been awarded a gold medal by the Kalinga Institution of Industrial Technology for her outstanding academic performance in the Master of Public Health (MPH) programme. She is the daughter of well-known Shillong-based social activists Santosh Jalewa and Asha Jalewa, and wife of Dr. Vishal Agrawal.
