SBI donates ambulance to Mairang organisation

SHILLONG, Oct 9: As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, the State Bank of India (SBI), Mairang Branch, on Thursday donated an ambulance to the Dawn Society during a function held at the Circuit House, Mairang.
The ambulance was formally inaugurated by Eastern West Khasi Hills Deputy Commissioner Anita Kharpor, while SBI Deputy General Manager (B&O) Samir Kant Jha handed over the keys to Dawn Society president, Lamphrang Marbaniang.
It may be noted that the Dawn Society, a registered non-profit and non-governmental organisation based in Pyndengumiong, Mairang, has been actively engaged in social upliftment through initiatives in healthcare, education and community welfare.
