SHILLONG, Oct 20: The National People’s Party (NPP) has set the ball rolling for next year’s elections to the Garo Hills Autonomous District Council (GHADC).
The Election Committee of the NPP, Garo Hills region, recently issued an official notification, inviting applications from intending candidates who are seeking party tickets for the elections.
The last date for submission of applications is November 14.
Meanwhile, the Congress has also started groundwork for the elections, and the grand old party is likely to invite candidates soon for the polls.
