Ampareen appointed adviser to govt

SHILLONG, Nov 4: Former Cabinet minister Ampareen Lyngdoh has been appointed Adviser to the Government of Meghalaya with perks and facilities under Category ‘A+’.
Lyngdoh was one of the ministers dropped from the State Cabinet recently.
Meanwhile, the government also de-notified the appointment of (L) D.D. Lapang as Adviser to the Government with effect from the date of his demise.
The former Chief Minister had breathed his last on September 12.
