SHILLONG:The Red Ribbon Club, NSS Unit of Women’s College along with the Meghalaya Aids Control Society in collaboration with Mawkyrdep Youth Social Welfare Association organized an awareness programme on HIV/AIDS at Mawdwar, Bhoirymbong Ri Bhoi District during the fishing competition organized by a pond owner, A Nongpluh on Saturday.
Around 1000 people were present during the fishing competition who also received awareness from the associations on HIV/AIDS.
