Govt clarifies on meet

SHILLONG: The State Government has clarified that Thursday’s meeting on the issues of peace pact with ANVC-B was held to identify suitable locations for setting up of camps for the cadres of ANVC-B and to carry out the verification of cadres.
Stating that there was no meeting scheduled with any representative of any organisation, Government stated that only Government officials were supposed to attend the meeting.
The clarification issued by the Government further states that Government is committed for brining in peace and harmony amongst all sections of the people.
